Compliance & Certifications
Certified, documented, inspected. The standards we work to — and the paperwork to prove it — in one place for your procurement and quality teams.
Quality Is Documented, Not Assumed
Westmoreland Steel operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, registered through PRI, with a controlled QC manual and a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff. Our welding procedures are qualified to AWS D1.1, D1.3, D15.1 and ASME Section IX, and we develop custom weld procedure specifications for job-specific applications.
Non-destructive examination (NDE) is available when your specification requires it, and work is documented and inspected before it ships. We fabricate to your drawings and specifications, and we provide the certification and inspection records to back it.

The Full AWS Code Library — Back to 1986
Welding codes get revised, but the edition that governs your weldment is the one your specification names — not whatever is newest. Westmoreland Steel keeps the complete American Welding Society code library on hand, every revision dating back to 1986.
That means our Certified Welding Inspector can inspect and document your work to the exact code edition your job requires — and back it with the reference to prove it.
